We are looking to recruit a dynamic, proactive, hands on person for the role of Marketing Manager. You will be joining The Tabor Group which comprises of three exclusive prestigious venues, which have been hosting weddings, functions and events for over20 years, along with our Clay Pigeon Shooting School. You will be responsible for the development, implementation, co-ordination and the evaluation of the marketing strategies for The Tabor Group.
This is not a role for someone who expects to manage a team to do the work for them. Based at Fennes in Braintree and travelling to all the venues regularly, you will be heading up all Marketing requirements across the Group and will be required to be very enthusiastic about ensuring the company is constantly ahead of our competitors in terms of new ideas and strategy. Initiative and self-motivation are imperative skills for this position.
The Role: As our Marketing Manager you will be creating & monitoring the budget of the marketing department and making sure the budget spend is delivering a return on investment. Design & produce all marketing material needed for the Tabor Group. Work closely with our external Marketing agency on development, organic search, paid media and development. Responsible for monitoring and setting SEO strategy in conjunction with our external marketing agency. Responsible for updating and maintaining all company websites. Write press releases and editorial for various magazines when requested. Responsible for maintaining the Company’s Social Media strategy. Responsible for briefing blogs that are provided externally in order that they fulfil the brief to perform in line with search trends and uploading them to our website. Analysing Google analytics & presenting them in regular sales meetings. Researching and analysing market trends and competitors. Responsible for obtaining and collating information from customer focus groups. Arrange photo shoots as required.
Skills: You will require a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar Managerial role. You will possess a relevant professional marketing qualification and will be an excellent communicator with creative writing skills, be effective at your own time management, have the ability to work to tight deadlines and the ability to influence at a senior level. You will be adept at working with digital communication platforms, have extensive experience in InDesign, WordPress, MS Office and an innovative and creative approach.
