We have a beautiful Deer Park set in over 100 acres of land, we are proud to be the only medieval Deer park in Essex to have survived still with its Deer. A perfect setting as a backdrop for your special day.
The deer in our park are Fallow Deer, mainly brown and white deer but if you look carefully you may see a few white ones amongst the herd! No official count has been done, however, it is estimated that there are about 80-100 deer freely roaming the park.
There are many parts of our estate where you can get your wedding photography taken in front of our beautiful deer park. Our Honeymoon Cottage is also positioned in the Deer Park, allowing for a fairytale style retreat after your special day. Whilst we cannot allow guests to walk through the grounds themselves to protect the deer, our one-way driveway creates a path which goes all the way around the Deer Park, allowing you and your guests to get a great glimpse of our beautiful deer and parklands.

Testimonials
Quendon Hall – what can we say, from open days, to booking our date and the wedding day itself… we couldn’t have asked for anything more, it was perfect! Our Wedding Events Manager, my wedding planner was always there to help with any query we (I had), no matter how bizarre or obvious – she knew exactly how to guide us though which, planning a wedding during a pandemic is always fun! I can’t thank my planner enough and will be forever in our hearts for running our big day so perfectly ❤️ Quendon is a beautiful venue, with great food, wine, views… also having the privacy of the place for yourselves and your guests made it extra special! Thank you all at Quendon Hall for making our dreams come true! Jess & Paul Wenborne
