On a mild sunny Decembers day, Rachel arrived early with her mum and bridesmaids to get ready in our bridal changing room. The room was soon filled with laughter as they all started to have their makeup applied, and hair teased into place, once the morning refreshments had been delivered, energy levels were restored. Soon it was time for Rachel to put her bridal gown on, her mum’s face told the story of a thousand words as she stood and gazed at her daughter.

Rachel and her bridesmaids made their way down the stairs toward the banqueting hall where all their guest were patiently waiting for her arrival; you could hear the beautiful sound of a harp being played. Rachel’s bridesmaids lead the way down the aisle revealing behind them the stunning bride to be to Dan who’s face lit up as he saw her for the first time in her bridal gown drawing ever closer to him, it was a very touching moment as they held hands and looked each other in the eye.

The Ceremony finished to the rapturous applause of all their friend and family.

Prosecco and Canapés were now being served for the enjoyment of everyone, Maria the Harpist moved into the drawing room which was being warmed by a roaring log fire. Rachel and Dan were now able to relax for a short while, before Simply Photographic whisked them away for some intimate photos together as husband and wife.

As the sun began to settle it signalled the time for the wedding breakfast to be served, once everyone had found their seat and the wine had been served the room filled with the joyous sound of old friends and family catching up on times past.

The DJ was now all set up in the pavilion as the first tunes of the night welcomed the arrival of the evening guests. Once the cake had been cut, and Rachel and Dan cut some brilliant moves on the dance floor the celebrations could now really begin.
