Kayleigh and Nathan’s Wedding 1st November
Parklands was brilliant! Staff were incredibly polite, welcoming and friendly. The venue looked amazing! The day ran very smoothly with Emma prompting us as and when things were about the take place (speeches etc). The food was brilliant! The set up was as I planned! We didn’t need to worry about anything on the day, the staff had this all in hand!
Where did you get engaged and how long had you been together before hand?
“Nathan proposed to me on our holiday in Bangkok Thailand, at a bar on the top of a hotel. Nathan and I will have been together for 9 years this July.”
How many venues did you visit before you chose Parklands as your wedding venue?
“Parklands was the only venue we visited!”
How did you feel when you first visited Parklands, did you know straight away that you wanted to get married here?
“We loved Parklands surroundings and interior. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The overall look and feel was everything we wanted for our day to be a success that would be
remembered and enjoyed by all.”
What was your first step of wedding planning? Venue search, dress shopping, choosing a date etc?
“Chose a date and booked the venue and church!”
How many months/years in advance did you book your wedding?
“Nathan proposed in November 2012. We booked the venue within two months and got married in November 2013.”
What was the hardest thing about planning your wedding day?
“Making a definite decision about everything!”
Did you have a colour scheme and theme?
“Predominately white with hints of deep purple and lilac.”
What were the highlights of your day?
“Everything coming together after all the planning and experiencing it with close friends and family.”
Where there any funny moments on the Day?
Now you have “been there done that” in hindsight is there any thing you would have done differently?
“Honestly, no I loved every minute. The whole day was very personal and unique to us!”
Do you have any advice for Bride and Grooms that are just starting their wedding plans?
“Make it personal. Make things if you can (adds more personal touch and unique!). Enjoy the day!”
