Zoe and David’s Wedding 24th August.
Zoe arrived early with her mini entourage once they were settled in to the bridal changing room the nerves of the day ahead soon dissipated as they all started to get ready for an exciting wedding. Once the final finishing touches had been made, they were ready to make the journey to St Mary’s Church in Saffron Walden; however, the first problem of the day had befallen them, the bridal car had not arrived, luckily Parklands was able to help and provide one of our Mercedes, next the bus that all the guests were travelling on got stuck in traffic due to heavy rain.
Zoe was finally able to walk down the aisle at St Mary’s over an hour late, despite being slightly frazzled from the problems Zoe looked stunning in her bridal gown as she walked toward David who was beaming with pride as he saw his bride for the first time that day; it really was a very touching moment when they joined hands before all their family and friends.
As the ceremony came to an end, and they enjoyed their first kiss as husband and wife everyone present applauded.
Canapés and Raspberry Bellini’s were being served at Parklands to welcome Zoe and David and their guests as they arrived back at Parklands to celebrate this joyous occasion. Everyone could now relax to the salutary tones of the live Jazz that was being performed for their entrainment. Jasmine Jade Photography took this opportunity to take some beautiful intimate photos of the happy couple together in and around the summer gardens at Parklands.
The wedding breakfast was now being served in our silk lined pavilion, once everyone was seated, and the food and wine had been served the room soon filled with the wonderful chatter and laughter that you only get at a wedding.
The afternoon soon turned to evening as the band was setting up the evening guests arrived the lights dimmed, the atmosphere now turned to one of a party as bass of the band signalled the start of the festivities ahead.
