Hannah and Ray were married on a warm but overcast day, this allowed them to capture some magnificent atmospheric photos throughout their day.

Hannah arrived early with her bridesmaid to get ready in our bridal changing rooms, which were soon filled with clothes, shoes makeup, hair accessories, and lots of laughter and giggles. The bacon sandwiches were very well received mid morning, giving everyone that little boost they need. Once all the finishing touches had been put in place, they made their way down stairs to the banqueting hall, as they walked past the closed main doors you could hear the room hush.

The bridesmaids walked down the aisle first closely followed by Hannah, as she stepped onto the aisle carpet you could hear the audible whispers of how beautiful Hannah looked in her bridal gown. The ceremony ended with their first kiss as husband and wife after the register had been signed they walked back up the aisle to the rapturous applause of everyone present.

Hannah and Ray along with all their family and friends could now relax with a nice cool glass of bucks fizz before Jasmine Jade Photography whisked the newlyweds off for some intimate photos in our floral autumnal gardens, they then made their way back into the house to capture the atmosphere of the mansion.

All too soon it was time for the wedding breakfast, the speeches and the evening guests arrival. The celebrations then continued long into the night with some floor filling tunes from our resident DJ.

“Our photographer was Jasmine Jade
“Jasmine really put us at ease and made us feel comfortable. She took the time to get to know us before the wedding and made sure everything was just how we wanted it. We were so happy with how friendly and helpful she was and how she made our day go smoothly!”

“My dress was from With Love Bridal Boutique which is in New Eltham London”.
“I first saw the dress at the Bluewater Glow Wedding Exhibition on the catwalk and I knew straightaway it was the dress I wanted!”
“When I went to the shop Jan and Valerie were really great, they made my dress buying experience special for me. Each time I tried the dress I loved it even more. They helped me to pick out the perfect veil to match the dress and also my tiara. After trying nearly all of the veils I went for a full length one which was really beautiful and thanks to them that’s how I felt!”

“My makeup was by Michelle MacGregor Make Up Artistry & Hair Styling.”
“Michelle also did the bridesmaids makeup as well as my own. My day wouldn’t have been the same without her, the makeup was really great and lasted all day and night. The bridesmaids all looked lovely and were really happy and stress free knowing they were in good hands! Michelle really made me feel comfortable and confidant all day long.”

Elegant Stems the florists played a big part in our day, from the bouquets and button holes down to the tea lights and all the little special touches that made Parklands look as magical as I had imagined. Jan and Carla listened to all of our ideas and made them happen, nothing was too much trouble for them. They were always in contact up until the wedding making sure we were happy and keeping us updated. Carla really understood the look I was going for and everything was perfect.”

“Our cake looked amazing and tasted amazing too! We went to Leigh Cakes in Southend On Sea. I told them how many tiers we wanted and what different types of cake we wanted, then I gave them pictures of the flowers we were having and asked them to incorporate them into the design. I couldn’t have been happier with the end result. It matched everything perfectly, they really work hard to meet your expectations.”

“Being as our wedding took place in September we wanted it to be nice and summery! We choose to go with the light greens and pinks so everything was bright and fresh but still inviting and elegant. I wanted it to have a magical feel so the florist added the fairy lights and hurricane lamps throughout Parklands making it look beautiful when the sun went down. My inspiration was shabby chic with fairytale, with my princess dress and beautiful venue down to the wonderful birdcage centre pieces, garlanding and decoration I feel our dream was made a reality!”

“Not to mention the food which was exquisite, the staff who were very helpful and polite, the service we received was great. Also the wonderful wedding planners who do everything to put you at ease make sure the day goes without a hitch! We just relaxed and enjoyed our day without a worry. Couldn’t have asked for more.”

“We had the perfect wedding at Parklands and our only regret is that we can’t do it again!”

“I feel its definitely worth spending your budget on the things that are going to last such as the photographer, we’re so happy we can look back on our photos and be happy with how everything was and how comfortable we look in the pictures. Especially as normally we don’t like to have our picture taken! Im also really glad I had Michelle doing my makeup and I didn’t do it myself to save money as I know I definitely wouldn’t have felt so stress free and confident if I hadn’t had it done professionally!”
“I think its good to save money on all the little things like table plan, name places and other stationary as DIY can look really good and add a personal touch!”
